the babe drawn from the water of the Nile
had I not kept him for her
nursing him the while?
Was he not mine

but Pharaoh's daughter? ^
Had I been Daniel's mother
I should have pled
"Give victory!
This Babylonian horde--
godless and cruel--

but crucified!"
With such prayers
importunate
my finite wisdom would assail
Infinite Wisdom;
God, how fortunate

| I wanted to post Bonnie B's rock painting Nativity picture to wish Jesus a Happy Birthday. But her phrase still works. I'll post the photo whenever it comes. Happy Birthday Jesus! You Rock! I'm so thankful HE IS A ROCK, my rock, my fortress, my foundation, my starting principle. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten God, full of grace and truth." The landscape of my world will change soon here, and instead of being alone there will be three Mrs. Rask's. When I got married I was the only one with that name that we knew. Love you Miss D. |

| Looking forward to meeting M & A's new baby, Asher's baby brother was born this morning around 5 am. Antsy Grandma just couldn't wait for the photos to come before posting. Gideon is 3 years and 1 week younger than big brother Asher! Hmmm how interesting. Michael & Tim's birthdays were one week apart, but the younger brother's came first on the calendar... |
